in 2018, i obtained a ba in secondary education majoring in english from national changhua university of education 🎓. my teaching journey 🏫 led me to vietnam (tshcmc) 🇻🇳 and taiwan (cmjh, dfsh) 🇹🇼, backed by credentials in english language teaching and integrative activities (with a career focus 📚) .
i completed my phd 🏁 at the university of cambridge’s faculty of education in summer 2024 after earning a distinction ✨ in my ma in drama education and english language teaching from the university of warwick in 2020.
guided by dr rachel turner-king, my ma dissertation looked into the multi-layered nature of sexuality and gender education through performance and digital media 🎭📱.
i explored 🔍 the knottiness of gendered agency and empowerment experiences among justice-involved girls 👧🏾 👧🏻 👧🏿 👧🏼 👧🏽 within out-of-home placement facilities in my phd project, employing hauntological 👻 and phenomenological frameworks. my research was conducted under the tutelage of dr liz maber.
